Food has been great in the past so was excited to return. No social distancing that I could see. My pick up order hadn't been started when Arrived 40 min after calling. People streamed in without masks, and no masks on those behind the counter.

Good food but the restaurant is not very clean

I don't get the sense that they are used to dealing with a non- African customer, nor dine in I am ordering from the menu but everyone around me (Africans), are picking up things not on the menu. The dibi lamb was charred, tough, lots of bone, and gristle served with mustard onions. Probably authentic, but nevertheless not going back.

Among the locals in the courtyard drinking beer,there was a parade of Beautiful African People of SENIGAL Heritage walking thru for carry out.A wonderful flavor from Africa coast.

The food was excellent, the restaurant is nothing to be fancy. We visited this place tonight, ppl and their kids were extremely loud showing no respect to others. I suggest to call for your order and do a pick up afterwards. The food was worth every disturbing thing, the dishes were big and the price was good. Definitely going for more pickups

Good food ,great prices...

The rice and veggies and yucca will blow your mind but the meat (I had lamb) needs a heavier seasoning. All in all, the portion was great and the price was friendly! I endorse!

Best Food I have ever tasted, and taste the same every time, family business, Very Welcoming and Great with explaining the menu and selections for anyone unsure......After Visting Senegal, They Are A Great Representative Of Authentic Foods From The Motherland......

i will never be there again.bad customers services. i serve a maffe without meat only one bone.when i talk to men about it. i told im rude .get out of the restaurant and the foods taste old been sit for days. i will never recommande bad foods and bad customers services.im sure the kicheens are a mess too.

Local hint... call ahead and order or else you will be waiiiiiiittting. I have never had food thing like this, and it is so good. Also tried to if the juices that sell and they are a super tasty treat. Darius Salam is a gem and hands down some of the best food I have ever eaten. Plus the portions are generous.

Great people great food

I went in blind and loved it. I got the Dibi with a side of plantains. One of the best lamb dishes I've ever eaten. The mustard sauce and onions were amazing. My brother destroyed the plantains, I was too busy with the dibi.

I love Afican food and my favorite is dish is there rice which is cooked in a special oil they use. I usally travel over 6 miles to get this rice but yesterday my husband finally let me in on his secret and told me about this place which is only three miles away an was a easy bus ride for me and baby. I was confused on the menu due to my husband usally getting it for me and decided to follow my heart and go with the first thing on the menu lol. Was i in for a shock not only was it exactly what i was craving and looking for but it was the most beautiful tastes of rice, fish, a lovely sweet brown sauce, with my favorite spicy eggplant mixture on the side with plenty of vegetables and a fried rice. Im in love and thank you to the Beautiful Queen who waited ever so patiently for me to figure out what i wanted. I will be coming here more often. And its a take out place like most African eatery but its so welcoming with tables if you would like to eat in instead. Lovvvved it.

I don't really know what I ordered. I got some drink that tasted like if Flintstone's Vitamins were a milk shake, which was amazing. The food made my mouth water and I are way more than I should have and I don't regret it. Looking forward to trying everything on the menu! Especially the fish!!Make sure to visit and get some Flintstone's Vitamins milkshake drink! You won't regret it!! Promise!!!

Delicious food but they left the door open in the dead of winter and brought us in with all the chairs still up on the table and had us put down our own chairs. They also did not bring out water or offer it and it takes a long time to place your order since they are not in much of a rush. Not a big deal for good food but I don’t think you want to go here if you’re expecting the average restaurant hospitality. Definitely a place for take out.

Kitchen is so friggin gross, nearly as bad as the bathroom, or worse, I don't know but it was traumatic. I wish I hadn't walked back there, threw out my shoes.

The best Curried Chicken I've tasted in Cincinnati, being I'm from Chicago and have a large variety of restaurants that may serve that dish.Only thing I don't like, is that it's only available on Tuesdays :(I also wished they opened earlier than 12:30. Being I've been a frequent customer for the last few months, I tend to miss my favorite dish.

Just go. My favorite is the Thiebu Jen and I LOVE the Jollof rice. And, you know, the Darou Salam Grocery is conveniently located across the street.

Never having African food before I can't rate it but it was tasty and I enjoyed it. Also like the location to sit outside and they gave great service.

Service was great, we tried 4 different dishes, all were well prepared and tasty,with one exception, the Dibi was burnt.

I never knew I liked African food but this place makes some special entrees. This was my favorite meal in Cincinnati. I'm not a huge fan of the sides though.

Great serving size and absolutely delicious food. Everything outside the food was okay, but the dishes themselves more than made up for it. Friendly staff too :)

FANTASTIC FOOD.

Very tasty Senegalese food freshly made. Although there is seating for dining in, this is really a take out resturant. Many patrons called in their order for pick up. We stopped for lunch and receive a good portion of food for a very reasonable price.

Lamb shank was good but grilled lamb was like burnt steak with no flavor. Asked for jolof rice but only received white rice.
